Advanced Apprenticeship in Professional Cookery Course
This Advanced Apprenticeship is ideal as a progression route if you completed the Intermediate Apprenticeship in Professional Cookery. It is ideal if you would like to learn how to prepare, cook and present to a high standard, a range of food items, including meat, fish, poultry, vegetables, cakes, desserts, soups and sauces. Topics covered may include: developing productive working relationships with colleagues; maintaining food safety when storing, preparing and cooking food; producing healthier dishes; preparing, cooking and finishing a variety of pastries and desserts; cooking and finishing a complex range of food dishes; food hygiene and safety and working as a team. You will also continue with your maths and English.
A minimum of 4 GCSEs grade C or higher, including English and maths. You must have completed an Intermediate apprenticeship in professional cookery or equivalent experience.
This apprenticeship is on a roll-on roll-off basis with starts every month.
